Carpet disposal questions
Do Hampshire tips take carpet?
Yes, and it is free of charge. If you are using a van you need a van permit. Our [Hampshire tips guide](/hampshire-tips/) has the detail on booking and vans.
Can I put carpet in my household bin?
No. Carpet is too bulky for a normal bin. Take it to the tip, book a council collection, or let us take it.
Can you take the underlay as well?
Yes. We carry everything out from inside, with no limit on items, so add the underlay and any other bits to your photos.
Can you take furniture at the same time?
Yes, it all goes in one visit. See [furniture and appliance removal](/furniture-removal/) or [rubbish removal](/rubbish-removal/) for what else we take.
